Silver/Blue Silver Ameraucana – Hatching Eggs

These are True Ameraucanas in the rare colors of Silver & Blue Silver. Not only are these birds beautiful with their signature Ameraucana features of a pea comb and nice, full muffs & beard, but their silver and blue silver plumage makes them very unique and strikingly beautiful. Although most Ameraucanas are friendly as a breed in general, our line of Silvers are even more friendly and personable! They are the first to greet me, and very much enjoy human companionship and company. They are very curious, docile and tend to stick together if there are more than one of them within a mixed flock.

This is a project pen, as I’m working towards a complete color combination of Silver, Blue Silver & Splash Silver. I am not aware of any other breeder with this full color line in the Silver Ameraucanas, and I’m so excited about this project! In this pen, I currently have both Silver & Blue Silver hens under Silver & Blue Silver roosters, so this pen should produce predominantly Silver & Blue Silver, with Splash Silver also possible.

Their egg color is a shade of blue that leans towards a teal/aqua hue.
