The Frosty Meadow Rustics are a lovely collection of eggs in rustic shades that feel as if they were gathered from a serene, frost-kissed meadow, each one carrying its own subtle pattern and texture. With their earthy, rustic character, they capture the quiet beauty of a frosty meadow, making each egg unique. From pale sage and muted olive to blue-greens and soft browns – all with beautiful variations in texture and finish. These eggs are from our F1 Olive egger girls that are Blue Silver or Barred Blue or Black, and back-crossed to our Welsummer line for Speckled Moss Eggers. Chicks hatched from these eggs should produce a wide variety of finishes including possible speckles, blooms, and unique hues of moss, evergreens, olives, and speckled browns.

Please remember with these, that the eggs you receive will not be what the chicks that hatch from these eggs will lay. This is one of our fun projects, and the eggs that go into these dozens are well-planned mixes to achieve a rustic rainbow basket of eggs! Plumage types are also a range of colors – Blue, Black Splash, Wild-type, some with crests or muffs & beard. Chicks should be mostly sexable at hatch with female wild-type chicks that have distinct eye liner or are solids, and males that have less defined eye liner or a white head dot.
